Hi I’m Dom
I'm Dom, a designer from South Jersey with a love for bringing ideas to life through art and design. Growing up, I was always drawing, creating, and exploring art without really knowing where it could lead me. It wasn’t until my freshman year of college, while taking general education courses at a local community college, that I discovered graphic design. From there, I switched my major and spent the next few years learning everything I could about design.
After earning my associate's degree in media design, I continued my education at an art school, diving deeper into layout, branding, and web design. Unfortunately, the school closed its doors during my senior year, but I didn’t let that stop me. I transferred to Wilmington University to finish my bachelor’s degree.
From there, I started designing for a small coffee startup, helping grow their brand from an online-only shop to a brick-and-mortar café selling coffee and baked goods—everything from the packaging to the in-store experience, I designed. A year later, I landed a full-time role at a nationwide Italian food company, working on their website, marketing materials, and more. During that time, I also earned a UX/UI design certification from the University of New Hampshire.
I’m always looking for great design in the world around me, constantly pushing myself to learn, improve, and take on new challenges. My passion for design continues to grow, which has led me to take my freelance work more seriously, helping brands, businesses, and ideas come to life through thoughtful design.
